Mother's Day

On Mother's day, my mom was in town with us. It was a great day. Earlier on for an Easter gift she sent the kids a butterfly kit to raise some butterflies. We diligently kept up with them....not that they needed much tending, but regardless, we had 4 beautiful butterflies and one physically challenged butterfly who came out all deformed, ha ha. His wings didn't grow quite right and he couldn't fly :( Anyway, so for Mother's day we had a nice dinner and invited Blair and Michelle to come eat with us and afterward we set the butterflies free. Once they were free, my mom surprised the kids with some fun gummy butterflies to eat. Kinda cute. It was a nice time and real fun for the kids to get to hold the butterflies and see them fly away.

I had to include this picture of the kids on the trampoline. Dallin had just "bombed" Ben and the poor kid ate it. He wasn't hurt but the look on Dallin's face cracked me up.

The beginning of the UPDATES!

Ok, so it's been FOREVER since I even logged into my blog if you haven't noticed. I am sure nobody even looks for it anymore :) Well, I will just start posting random pictures as much in order as possible.
I went on a cruise in January and that just started the whole slacker problem of mine. I have gone from one thing to the next up until now in SEPTEMBER when things have finally started to slow down.
Here is a little outing with my mom and Drew clear back around February??? We went to the river and fed the ducks and let Drew ride around on his scooter(which has now been stolen from our front yard by the way!!??!!) The one with just the ducks in it was what I took when we were walking back to our car to leave and I turned around to find all the ducks following us in this big line down the sidewalk. I thought it was so funny I had to snap a shot of it. The picture of me and my mom was taken by Drew, the budding photographer. He got a very centered shot, what a great eye he has......
