This was a hard one....harder than the others. This girl had a real strong serve and it was hard to return. She beat me 6-4 on the first set. It took me some time to get warmed up to her, but I finally did (sort of). The second set I thought I was going to lose it, but I didn't. We got to 6-6 and had a tiebreaker which meant the first to 7 points wins. Luckily I won that 7-4. Then we went into the third set and that is when I really stepped it up and put my all into it. I wanted to WIN! Anyway, I kept my head in the game and she lost it. It was a quick set that I won 6-1. It was a butt whoopin' in the end! That was a close one though, I almost didn't get that third set! So anyway, I'm glad. I want to win as many as possible. I like competing. Besides that, the rest of my team isn't winning games and I need my options open to get on a good team that I can actually compete with. I had another offer to join another team this week. I have to say, they like me and they want my "skills" on their teams! Ha ha, kidding. Sort of. Don't think I'm being arrogant, I just like to joke around. To be honest, we are on the low end of the "skills" level anyway.
Wish me luck on the next!

Wow, awsome Carrie, are you playing for a city team or what kind of organization? Good luck on the next one!
Thanks, Katie! I am playing for the US Tennis Association (USTA). I think they have it in every area, but I'm not sure. It is a national organization and lots of fun!
